Does it often happen to you that you step out of the salon with a blow-dry and shampoo and instead of flaunting your gorgeous mane, you scratch your scalp? It's very common among people to scratch their scalp and complains of an itchy, irritated scalp. It not only feels annoying but is an unhygienic habit. But why do people scratch their scalps? Several reasons are there for your itchy scalp. One of the most prominent is not washing your hair as frequently as you should. In the tropical monsoon climate of India, you sweat easily. Allergy – It often happens that you are allergic to something and you don’t realize it till very late when the condition has worsened. Some people are allergic to food items like prawns, or eggs. Some people get allergies if they spend too much time in the sun or areas with too much dust. Allergies appear as red bumps on different parts of your body as well as on your scalp. You will feel like scratching your scalp or your skin all the time if you get allergies.
